Number eight Harry Wilson has retained the captaincy while Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii and Harry Potter play their first Tests on home soil.
It's the first match-up between the two sides since the 2023 Rugby World Cup, where the Fijians claimed their first win in almost 70 years over Australia.
Hooker Tevita Ikanivere leads the side as they hunt for back-to-back wins over the Wallabies.

79' AUS 21 FIJ 18 Wallabies earn another penalty, they maul again. They give it to the forwards, and Wilson… gets it down! It's a try! Australia regain the lead. One minute will be played though. Seems to be some controversy with the grounding, but the ref rules it stands. Donaldson nails the conversion.

Fiji botch the lineout, scrum to Australia in a good position, Lolesio breaks through but goes down, and Fiji counterattack well! They look to have scored, but have stopped for obstruction - Potter looks to have put a foot in play, no try.
56' AUS 14 FIJ 15 The official crowd number is 28,132 - setting a new rugby record by a large margin. And on cue, Fiji spring into action! Wainiqolo makes a massive break, and Tagitagivalu scoops up to score. Muntz converts, Fiji lead!
52' AUS 14 FIJ 8 Fiji attack well, and earn a penalty for offside. They point to the stick, and Muntz… hits the posts, but it goes through! Fiji cut the margin to less than a try. Maqala, Matavesi and Hetet come on for the visitors.

The visitors have a good opportunity early in Wallaby territory to close the gap, but the Wallabies steal it back. Scrum to Wallabies on their 22. Lolesio clears, Fiji go quickly but lose the ball and Australia attack quickly.

40+2' AUS 14 FIJ 5 Porecki has failed his HIA, he will take no further part in this game. Fiji however counterattack well after a solid play, get the Wallabies short on numbers… and Rayasi scores on debut! What a try! Conversion unsuccessful, but that's halftime.
39' AUS 14 FIJ 0 Potter makes a good break and nearly links up, but Fiji regather well for a goal line drop out. Wallabies go again, and find space out wide and McReight goes over! Lolesio nails from the sideline. Into the final minute.
36' AUS 7 FIJ 0 A great attacking play sees Wright put a dab through. Fiji have to clear quickly but the Wallabies have a lineout on the 22. They spin in wide but Ravouvou intercepts it and Fiji counterattack well. They kick it through and it beats everyone to touch, scrum to the Wallabies as we head into the last five minutes.
32' AUS 7 FIJ 0 Wallabies are pinged for not rolling away, and Fiji move deep into enemy territory. Williams intersects, and the referee pulls the lineout up for not being straight. Wallabies win the scrum and clear, and Fiji attack again before knocking it on cold. Scrum to Wallabies.
28' AUS 7 FIJ 0 Fiji try to go quickly, but are pinged for a neckroll. Wallabies kick into Fiji territory, and attack well, making it to the 22, however Gleeson is pinged for a dangerous tackle. Slipper returns to the field, passing his HIA - but Porecki is now leaving with a HIA, Pollard comes on.
24' AUS 7 FIJ 0 A seesawing passage of play results in a penalty to McReight for not releasing the ball. They do to the corner, and maul, but it's not straight! Scrum to Fiji, and they survive again. They clear to their 10m line, and the Wallabies attack again.

Wallabies butcher the lineout and Fiji regather and go quick, but knock it on again on halfway. Wallabies get a good shove on, but a bit too keen. Free kick to Fiji and they tap and go.
16' AUS 7 FIJ 0 Australia do well off the scrum, and attack week. Wright attempts a kick through, Fiji regather but the pressure is strong and they knock on right under their own posts. Scrum to the Wallabies in a great position… they fling it wide, and Potter scores… but it's a forward pass! Scrum to Fiji.
13' AUS 7 FIJ 0 Wallabies regather of the kick-off, but Suaalii knocks on, with a Fijian hand also getting in the way. Scrum to Fiji in Wallaby territory, and the Wallabies earn a scrum penalty for hinging. Noah kicks but it isn't out, and a kicking battle ensues before Fiji knock on on their side of halfway.

7' AUS 0 FIJ 0 A cross kick falls apart, and Fiji make a dangerous counterattack, however the Wallabies regain and make a strong attack on his own, however Jorgensen knocks it on, scrum Fiji. Better scrum for the home side, but Fiji go to the air and Wright regathers. A great passage of play but another knock on inside the Fiji 22.
4' AUS 0 FIJ 0 Early aerial play from the Wallabies nearly comes off, but Jorgensen knocks it on. Fiji earn a scrum penalty for wheeling the scrum, however Harry Wilson manages a steal off the lineout. Wallabies go on the attack in Fiji territory, and look dangerous.

KO T-MIN 15: The teams walk out for the anthems, with Harry Wilson leading the Australians out on a delightful day for Rugby. Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii is as calm as ever as he says hello to his family before the official proceedings.

KO T-MIN 30: The crowd is building nicely in Newcastle as both hills start to fill up. There are fans already at the top of the grandstand as the teams go through their paces.
