A decorated schoolboy backrower, the future for Fraser McReight appears destined to be in a Wallabies jersey.

Joining the Reds in 2019, McReight enjoyed a breakout year as he came off the bench in Round 6 against the Brumbies at Suncorp Stadium for his Super Rugby debut.

The Queensland pathway product having represented his state and country at both Schoolboys and U20s level, played three games for the Reds in 2019 before again being selected in the Junior Wallabies squad where he skippered Australia to a Grand Final appearance at the U20s World Championships in Argentina.

Named in the Queensland Country squad in 2017, an ankle injury ruled him out from what would have been his debut National Rugby Championship (NRC) season. He went on to make his NRC debut for Brisbane City in Round 1 of the 2018 season, before he was handed the City captaincy in 2019 and played a further six matches.

A regular starter in the Reds 2020 Super Rugby Campaign, the young breakaway is a class above and expected to be a regular starter in the Wallabies jersey for many years to come.
