Biography

Paismai made the move to Brisbane at the beginning of the 2019 season and it has paid dividends with his strong form for Wests in Brisbane’s Hospital Challenge Cup earning him selection for Brisbane City in the National Rugby Championship (NRC).

Paisami has previously played in the NRC for the Melbourne Rising. He was named in their 23 in every match during the 2017 season and finished the year with seven caps. He was also a part of the Melbourne Rebels squad before making the move north.

His destructive running game and elusive step makes him one of the competition’s most destructive damaging outside centres before bursting onto the scene in Vodafone Super Rugby in 2020.

A knee injury almost curtailed his Wallabies aspirations but the centre enjoyed a stunning return to seal a spot in his first Wallabies squad.
