Wallaby number 745, Nathan Grey was known for his confrontational style in the centres for the Qantas Wallabies and New South Wales Waratahs.
Those traits he displayed as a player remain in force today with Grey now serving Australia’s defensive lines with his role as Assistant Coach for the Wallabies.
Grey began his coaching career in Kyden in Japan before he made the move to the Melbourne Rebels in 2011. Heading north to his beloved Waratahs, Grey was a part of Michael Cheika’s coaching staff that guided the Waratahs to a maiden Super Rugby championship in 2014.
Grey was called on by Cheika to join the Qantas Wallabies coaching staff that year and he has since signed on to continue in the role in 2016.
