Pone Fa'amausili

  • 24 Age
  • 130kg Weight
  • 196cm Height

A proud Melbournian, the tall, powerfully built ball runner hails from the Moorabbin Rams Rugby Union Club. Progressing through the National Rugby Championship, Fa’amausili made his debut for the Melbourne Rising in 2017. Standout performances saw him put pen to paper as a part of the Rebels wider training squad in 2018.

Fa’amausili became the 133rd Melbourne Rebels player when he came off the bench in the Melbourne Rebels win over the Sunwolves at AAMI Park in May 2018. Fa’amausili continued to grow as a physical young forward, and in 2020 was known for his physical running and combative style that helped the Melbourne side to their first ever Super Rugby finals series in 2020.

One of 16 potential debutants in the Wallabies 2020 Rugby Championship squad, Fa’amausili will look to bolster the Wallabies front row stocks in his inaugural campaign.

Represented Australia U20s and was a shadow player for the squad at the 10th annual World Rugby U20 Championship in France.
