Ned Hanigan
Wallaby Ned Hannigan remains a threat in the 2023 season despite the knee injury suffered in the pre-season against the Reds in Narrabri. The Country NSW born lock, who grew up in Coonamble, attended rugby nursey St Joseph’s college before being selected to represent his country with the Australian Schoolboys on their 2013 Grand Slam European tour. Hanigan came through the NSW Rugby pathways where he played for Randwick as part of the Premiership-winning Colts side (2014) and NSW Under 20s (2014, 2015) before making the cut once more for the Australian Under 20s. Hanigan has been a critical team player amongst the Wallabies side, debuting in 2017 against Fiji before broadening his horizons and playing for Japanese side Kurita Water Gush to work on his craft. The proud New South Welshman is now a working piece in the Wallabies' side.
