Nominations are now open for the 12th anniversary of the Philips Sports Dad of the Year award. Your nominations will help select the 10 finalists for this year’s award, with the winner announced on Father’s Day.
Last years’ award was won by Benji Marshall who donated his winnings to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Sydney, the funds helped the facility manage the recent changes brought about by Covid-19.
The Award recognises sporting fathers who make positive impressions in the community, with previous winners donating up to $10,000 to their charity of choice.

Wasn't the way we wanted to finish off our season at home, however well done to the Brumbies on the victory. Always a tough battle. I want to thank everyone that came out to my last game at home in the Sky Blue jersey lastnight and those that sent through messages, from the bottom of my heart thank you. Really does mean alot to me and my family. You all made it a special night regardless. Thank you to my wife and kids for everything over the past 11 seasons, it's had it's ups and downs, but I wouldn't wanna do it with anyone else. A journey well worth it. 🙏🏽 Exciting times ahead. #Lessssgooo Ofa atu & God bless 💙 Photo cred: @stu_walmsley; @lachlanlawsonphotography
