Reece Hodge's ideal beaches day

Tue, Dec 8, 2020, 5:00 AM

Manly local and Wallaby Reece Hodge details his ideal itinerary for a day out in his home town of Manly.

6:15am - Wake up and head down to the grass out the front of North Steyne Surf Club and watch the sunrise

8:00am - Grab a coffee (3/4 flat white) and big brekkie from Three Beans café and catch up with some mates.

9:30am - Head down to Manly Oval and have a kick and do some training and head straight down to Fairy Bower for a recovery dip.

11:00am - Duck by home and grab a snack then head to the gym for a strength session and some prehab.

1:30pm - Refuel at Dolce Terra – Moroccan chicken with wakame seaweed noodle salad and steamed greens is the go to.

2:00pm - Meet a few of the boys at Cromer Golf Club for a round, aim to shoot under 90!

4:00pm - Drop into Freshwater Beach on the way home for my second swim of the day before heading down to Hugo’s for dinner.

5:30pm - Last stop of the day is Wharf Bar for a couple of sundowners.
