Charlie Cale

Charlie Cale has been the breakout star of the Brumbies' campaign in 2024.

The former Eastwood product was brought down to the nation's capital on an elite development squad contract before impressing enough to earn a debut in 2023 amid World Cup resting policy.

The departure of Pete Samu to France opened a spot in the backrow and Cale took it instantly with an impressive performance against the Melbourne Rebels in round one.

Cale scored a double, including a great chip and chase to beat winger Lachlan Anderson to score in the corner.

It solidified his status as a bolter before earning the call-up after a great year with the Brumbies.
